How to report copyright infringement on an EstimatePath contractor page, and how we handle takedowns.

Report

Report copyright infringement

EstimatePath hosts public pages for pressure washing and exterior cleaning pros. If you own a copyright and one of those pages uses your work without permission, you can ask us to take it down. Send us a notice and we act on it.

The content on a contractor's page belongs to that contractor. We don't write it, but we host it — so we take copyright notices seriously and remove infringing material when a notice checks out.

Your notice

What to include in a notice

A complete notice lets us act quickly. Include all of the following:

  • Your name and contact details — an email, and a phone number if you have one.
  • The work you own: a link to it, or a clear description.
  • The exact page or web address where you see your work being used.
  • A statement that you believe, in good faith, the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your signature. Typing your full legal name counts as a signature.

Where to send it

Send your notice

Email your notice to support@estimatepath.com with DMCA in the subject line. One notice per page keeps things clear.

What happens after you send a notice

We confirm we received your notice. We review it against the details above. If it checks out, we take the page down — the web address stops resolving to that contractor straight away — and we tell the contractor what was removed and why.

Submitting a notice you know to be false can carry legal liability. Send a notice only for work you own or are authorized to act for.

If we got it wrong

If your page was taken down

If you are the contractor and your page was removed over a copyright notice, reply to the email we sent you, or write to support@estimatepath.com. Tell us why you have the right to use the work, and we review it.
