Privacy
What we store, how long, and how to delete it. Short version: the least we need to make quoting work, and it's yours to delete.
What we collect
We keep the least we need to make quoting work. That's:
We don't sell your data, and we don't show your numbers to other contractors.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. Without it, you'd have to sign in on every page.
We also use your browser's local storage to hold a quote you're building before you save it — so a refresh doesn't wipe your work. That stays on your device until you clear it or finish the quote.
Analytics
We count a short list of actions — like a quote started or a PDF downloaded — to see what's working and what's broken. It tells us a button got tapped, not who you are or what you charged.
We don't record your screen, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't build advertising profiles on you.
AI drafts
When you ask for a draft, the job notes you paste are sent to an outside service that turns them into suggested line items. We send the notes needed for the draft and get the suggestion back.
The draft is a starting point — you edit every field and set every price. Don't paste anything into job notes you wouldn't want processed this way.
How long
We keep your account and saved quotes while your account is open, so you can find and resend old quotes.
Your data
Your data is yours. To delete your account, or to get a copy of what we hold on you, email us and we'll take care of it.
Who it's for
EstimatePath is for contractors running a business. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from kids.
Changes
We update this page when something important changes and note it here. Questions about your data go to support.
